Good Feels for Everyone
Earlier this week, while most of us residing in the Northeast were buried in snow, we got plenty of warmth out of watching Michelle Yeoh’s mom burst into joyous celebration as she watched her daughter become the first Asian woman to win an Oscar for Best Actress for her role in “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” While none of us will be the parents of the first Asian woman to win an Oscar for Best Actress, we can all relate to that amazing feeling of watching your baby live out their dreams.
To keep spreading the warmth (because we heard it’s a frosty 50 degrees even in Southern California, which is apparently “cold”), we’ll turn your attention to some other feel-good parenting moments that have been circulating the internets (and our homes) lately.

This girl, on fire.
Parents are most proud of kids when they’re kind - a study. Because if there isn’t a study on it, is it real?
That time you almost lost your shit on your kids but took a few deep breaths and didn’t.
Doing nothing except being cute and excited.
Letting children express their religious convictions with fervor (and an early love of wine tasting).
When kids know their worth and potential and aren’t afraid to sing about it.
When kids feel safe and supported telling us how they feel, and we hear them.
A good hug or cuddle. And for those of you with older kids who no longer do that, hopefully you have videos and pics of those moments you can easily access.
Have a great weekend to you all!
